CUSTOMER’S OBLIGATIONS a) The rental period starts at 4pm on the first day and ends at 11 am on the last day, as defined above. The owners or his representative is not required to provide housing before the scheduled time and the Customer can't stay in the house after the scheduled time, except by prior agreement between the two parties. b) Under no circumstances may the number of persons at the holiday home exceed the maximum number of persons as stated in this contract. If this becomes apparent to the owners or his representative that number is exceeded, the customers or their guests shall be immediately evicted and no refund granted. c) Pets are not allowed in the house, except by prior agreement between the parties. d) Smoking is not permitted under any circumstances within the confines of the house. If you need to smoke, please use the outside terraces and dispose of your butts in a responsible manner. Any evidence of smoking within the house will result in a deduction from the security deposit for fumigation. e) The customers or their guests shall be responsible for the house during the customers’ stay. The customers or their guests shall take all reasonable care of the house and at the end of the stay shall leave the house including all utensils, fixtures, fittings and equipment on, in or about the Property in a clean and tidy condition. The customers or their guests shall be liable for any breakages or damage caused to the house or any part thereof or any of the chattels therein that may occur during the customers' occupation of the house and all costs of repairs and replacement thereof shall be charged to the security deposit or, if the amount is not enough, shall be payable to the owner upon demand. f) The house is to be left in a clean and tidy state, with floors swept and dishes washed and put away. All rubbish must be emptied into closed bags put on the square outside the house on Sunday evening, Wednesday evening and Friday evening. Beds must be left with quilt covers straightened and clean. Dishes must be done and put away clean. The cleaning fee that is charged to you is the cost of having the house hygienically cleaned after your stay NOT for cleaning up after you. Any excess required extra cleaning will be charged to the security deposit. g) Any claims resulting from the unlawful or anti social behavior of the customers or their guests require owners to take whatever action they deem necessary, including legal. INTERNET & PHONE ACCESS a) A free Wifi access to Internet is available to customers. The use of the Internet is the sole responsability of customers. Owners will be obliged to produce your contact information to authorities in case of illegal use of the Internet. We recall in particular thal illegal downloading is prohibited in France. b) A telephone number is freely available to customers so they can be called during their stay. The telephone calls made by customers will be charged in additional service on their safety deposit. A record of telephone calls will be produced to customers at the same time of the refund of their safety deposit. An indicative price guide will be attached to the contract. c) Given free access to this service, no refund or compensation will be paid in case of non use and/or non functioning of the Internet and/or phone durind the stay of the customers. ARBITRATION
Legal disputes shall take place and be governed by the French laws. |
